Count zero through ten, say your age, ask 'how many' of something.

💡 Grammar note
Use 几 when you expect a small number (under 10), and 多少 for larger or unknown counts. Ages need 岁 : 我 五 岁 = 'I am 5 years old' (no verb needed).
